That’s the biggest question that so many end up asking themselves. Why can’t I lose weight, even though I seem to be doing everything right? That can be a really hard question to answer, because there isn’t always just the one answer. But rather, this is a problem that plagues so many, and it’s something that can be really hard for you to find an answer to. Whether it’s because of how you’re eating, exercising, or doing a combination of both, you will find that you have to get the formula just right if you do want to lose weight. That’s why there are a few things that you’re going to have to be aware of.
The first being, there’s no such thing as just dieting to lose weight, just as exercising isn’t going to get you any further. You need a combination of both if you want to succeed. You have to take a calorie deficit, so that your body can no longer maintain it’s current size. But you also want to burn the calories you already have stored as fat, so that you literally burn your fat and tighten up your body at the same time. That’s how you actually get fit, and lose the weight for good like you want to do.
But the thing about exercising is that you have to be doing the right type so that you can actually lose weight. Just being active sometimes isn’t enough. The body is built beautifully to adapt to different situations, and ensure that you can survive and prosper given just about any type of adversity. However, that does come at a cost, and that’s in the form of trying to change your body for the better. Trying to change your body through diet and exercise becomes that much harder because of this, so you’re going to have to be prepared.
So realize first up, that in order to actually lose the weight, you need a combo of cardio as well as weight lifting. The cardio is where you actually burn, and that’s about losing calories so that you can lose weight long term, as well as get your body more physically fit. But you will also find that alongside cardio you have to weight train. That’s because more muscle is good, as it means more fat can be burned a lot more faster when you have that more muscle. So if you want to see extreme progress, this is going to have to be a part of any healthy routine for which you’re a part.
But you also have to eat right, and that not only means eating less calories, but only taking in healthy calories. The problem for so many is that they still eat junk, despite eating fewer calories. But if the only calories you’re putting in come from things like McDonald’s cheeseburgers or something else unhealthy, then you’re still getting calories that will impact your body in a really negative way.
That’s why with diet and exercise, you have to do the right exercises, and you have to be eating right if you want to see a big positive impact. Keep that in mind when you workout, and when you make choices for lunch and dinner. Success is hard, but will always be attainable for those who are diligent.
